Master Classes are an optional and additional part of the workshop held on Friday from approximately 3p-7p and Sunday 9a-2p. All levels are welcome to sign up. During Master Classes, students receive individual lessons with a workshop clinician in a public setting so that those observing can learn and benefit from the student's lessons. The classes will be held at the home of Nancy Brooks at 413 Granville Road, Chapel Hill. Students sign up for master classes on the registration form and pay an additional fee for them. Students who wish to participate in a master class should fill out a registration form. Students will then be placed in classes according to their availability and level. Teachers and families will be notified about the day and time of their master class closer to the event.
Students should arrive 15 minutes before their class and stay for the whole hour. A master class objective is to learn from other students' lessons as well as your own. Parents should attend their student's class. If you have to cancel at the last minute, please contact your private teacher and Amy Buchanan McKinnis (919) 381-0155.
Teachers are welcome to observe anytime!
